Why does it matter how damaged the glass is?
Many glass chips on windshields may be repairable. Repair involves injecting a clear resin into the chip to repair the damaged area rather than replacing the entire windshield. While most windshield cracks less than the size of a 50 paisa coin can be repaired at WINDSHIELD PLUS. The technician will need to examine the damage to ultimately determine if the damage can be repaired. After inspection, WINDSHIELD PLUS might be able to repair longer cracks and might not be able to repair shorter cracks. Repairs are typically not recommended if the chip or crack is in the driver’s critical viewing area (defined by many states) or if there is significant road dirt and grime within the chip or crack.

WINDSHIELD PLUS is not the final authority on determining what would make a windshield repairable or not. The final determination of what is repairable can only be made by a qualified repair technician physically inspecting the windshield damage.

What's the difference between my windshield and the other glass in my car?
Auto glass is designed and manufactured for optimum safety in the event of a crash. Your windshield is made of laminated safety glass. Laminated safety glass is two pieces of glass with a layer of vinyl sandwiched between, so it will stay intact in a collision.

The side and rear windows are usually made of tempered glass, which has been treated to make it much stronger than other glass of the same thickness. If it breaks, it is designed to shatter into small pieces. For some newer vehicles, car manufacturers sometimes use laminated glass for side windows to improve sound insulation and/or strength.

How do I know which glass to select?
Look at the descriptions included with each selection. If you have questions as to which description matches your windshield, you can r call a customer representative (0161-4642664,921642664) who can help you with your selection.

What if I select the wrong piece of glass?
Don’t worry – if you select the wrong type of glass, our glass technicians will make it right. Please note that pricing may differ from your estimate if this is the case.

What is OEM glass?
OEM stands for Original Equipment Manufacturer. This means that the glass was manufactured by a company who supplies original equipment to the vehicle manufacturers. Glass manufactured by an OEM manufacturer will have the same appearance, fit and function of the original glass in your vehicle.

How long will I have to wait to receive my quote?
Your emails will be sent immediately and should take no more than a few minutes to reach you.

Why do you need my email?
You will be emailed quotes for the individual shops you selected. You can review your shops and their quotes before making a decision. Once you decide which quote best fits your auto glass needs, you will find a link in the email that will direct you back to our site to finish scheduling your appointment.

How can I be sure my privacy will be protected?
WINDSHIELD PLUS values your privacy and will not rent or sell your email address. It will only be used for communication regarding your auto glass needs from WINDSHIELD PLUS.

Can I have my glass replaced at my home or office?
Yes, but you should be aware of precautions and limitations on this service. Shops avoid performing windshield replacement outside when the weather is bad. In poor weather, a reputable company will use a special adhesive that will harden at low temperatures, and set up a temporary shelter to protect your car during installation.

How long will it take to repair/replace my windshield?
To repair a small crack or ding (without replacing the entire windshield) takes about 30 minutes. Length of service may vary for a complete windshield replacement, based on the adhesives used, the thoroughness of your technician and "safe drive time" (the amount of time your vehicle must sit to allow adhesives to fully cure making it safe to drive your vehicle).

What kind of warranty should I expect?
Through WINDSHIELD PLUS you will receive a warranty from participating shop. In addition, you will be protected through the WINDSHIELD PLUS, which provides one year warranty coverage..
